- First, you will need to set your X-Touch to Mackie Control (MC) mode and change the IFC mode to USB: Press and Hold the Channel 1 SELECT button while powering on the X-Touch to boot into configuration mode. Rotate encoder 1 to toggle the emulation mode between HUI or MC. To use the X-Touch in studio one, select MC mode.
X-Touch with Studio One. Selecting a fader does not change selected track. Not sure why. I have the X-touch set up with xctrl/MC. The transport and display work fine as do the motorized faders (following automation too).

Behringer X Touch One Cubase
Studio One integration with Behringer X-Touch (Mackie Control)
I'm considering making the jump over to Studio One. The biggest thing that has me hesitating is the integration of the Behringer X-Touch (clone of Mackie Control Unit).
I've used the X-Touch heavily in both Ableton Live 9 and Logic Pro X. The integration is excellent in both.
The first thing I noticed in using the demo of Studio One is that it's not readily apparent how to control plugins. Both Logic and Ableton have no trouble (once you figure out how to get to where you want.) Studio One doesn't seem to recognize that I have a controller attempting to control the plugins.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'd give you credit for converting someone to Studio One!
